Presentation

Feeling of food stuck in throat after eating meat.

Patient Data

Age: 60 years
Gender: Female
x-ray

Soft tissue rounded food bolus in the upper esophagus at the level of C6 and C7. No associated calcification. The larynx and trachea appear unremarkable. There are degenerative changes in the cervical spine and a large external occipital protuberance.

Case Discussion

Gastroenterology team performed an endoscopy and pulled out a large meat food bolus foreign body.
