The MRI sequences demonstrate:
- vertical tortuosity of the optic nerves with prominent surrounding subarachnoid space around
- flattening of the posterior sclera with intraocular protrusion of the optic nerve heads
- partially empty sella turcica
- moderately enlarged Meckel cave
- the MRV shows distal stenosis of the transverse sinuses
