There is telescoping of distal jejunal bowel loops.
There is a suspicious, leading soft tissue focal mass involving distal jejunal wall causing luminal narrowing and marked dilatation of proximal small bowel loops and gastric.
Movement blurring noted.
Case Discussion
Intussusception occurs when a loop of the bowel invaginates with another loop of bowel. While this entity usually occurs in children, it may occur in adults, typically from a lead point lesion (most common lesion is a lipoma). CT scan has become the modality of choice when assessing for an acute abdomen in adults.
