Limbus vertebra

There is a triangular shaped,well corticated bone fragment adjacent to the antero-superior endplate of the L5 vertebral body. The adjacent vertebral body shows smooth margin. This is diagnostic of limbus vertebra. No evidence of fracture.
There is also loss of normal lordotic curvature of spine.
Case Discussion
Limbus vertebra is an incidental finding and was not the cause of pain.
