Mature cystic ovarian teratoma

Presentation

Right iliac fossa pain.

Patient Data

Age: 35 years
Gender: Female

Right ovarian low-density lesion (HU-122) measuring 5.6 x 4.3 cm, with soft tissue and osseous components suggestive of mature cystic ovarian teratoma. A smaller fat-containing cystic lesion is also noted, mostly of the same nature.

An interstitial uterine lesion involving the left wall of the uterus, suggestive of an interstitial fibroid.

Right ureter upper third stone with mild right hydronephrosis.

An intragastric bariatric balloon is noted.

Case Discussion

This case demonstrates features highly suggestive of mature cystic ovarian teratoma. The patient was referred to gynecological service for further management and assessment.
