Left medial malleolus transverse fracture is noted with mild displacement
Soft tissue swelling is noted

Fractures of the medial malleolus may be isolated, but they are more commonly associated with fractures in other parts of the ankle.
There are five types of medial malleolus fractures:
Chip fracture. ( avulsion fracture)
Transverse fracture (like our case)
Vertical fracture.
Oblique fracture.
Comminuted fracture.
