There is a right parasellar mass filling the cavernous sinus, measuring 22 x 12 x 10 mm isointense to the cortical grey matter on both T1WI/T2WI, and FLAIR with intense, and homogeneous enhancement on postcontrast sequences.

Posteriorly there is mild thickening with the enhancement of the right prepontine dura, with a filling of the Meckel cave inferiorly. No extension to the right sellar or suprasellar regions. No significant narrowing of the adjacent segment of the internal carotid artery is seen.

Case Discussion

MRI features of a probable meningioma of the cavernous sinus.

In such location, there is a wide differential see (cavernous sinus mass).
