A 20 x 60 x 70 mm right sided fluid collection adjacent to the tensor fascia lata is likely to represent a Morel-Lavallée lesion.
Case Discussion
Morel-Lavallée lesions are associated with trauma to the hip and pelvis. They are thought to occur after a shear injury between tensor fascia lata and the overlying fat. The differential diagnosis includes seroma.
