Dynamic images of the scrotum were acquired in the anterior projection at 1 frame per second for 60 seconds immediately after injection with autologous red blood cells labeled with 25 mCi of Tc-99m pertechnetate.
Anterior and posterior planar static images of the pelvis were also obtained.
No foci of abnormally decreased tracer activity in the scrotum characteristic of testicular torsion.
