Osteitis condensans ilii

There is bilateral, symmetrical sclerosis along the subcortical articular surface of the sacroiliac joint. The sclerosis is sharply defined and dense, primarily located in the anterior mid-third of the joint. No joint space narrowing, widening, bony destruction, erosion, or effusion is observed.

Osteitis condensans ilii is benign and often most prevalent in pregestational/postpartum women.
