Presentation
Professional weight lifter. About 2 weeks prior to the presentation, the patient had a sudden onset of pain in the anterior left-sided chest wall region during lifting weight. This was followed by ecchymosis in the left anterior chest wall and left arm.

Pectoralis major tendon is intact. The sternal head of the pectoralis major muscle shows an area of loss of normal muscle echopattern measuring about 69 x 50 x 43 mm. The rest of the muscle shows normal echopattern. Biceps long head tendon is normal. Pectoralis minor muscle is normal. Anterior chest wall shows subcutaneous odema.
