Abdominal pain. ?perforation

Patient Data

Age: 65 years
x-ray

Pneumoperitoneum, with the diaphragm clearly visible across the midline.  Dual lead pacemaker.  No focal consolidation or collapse, small areas of calcification in the upper lobes.

Erect chest radiographs are used in the assessment of a pneumoperitoneum, and as demonstrated, signs include a continuous diaphragm sign
