Post traumatic laryngeal hematoma

Presentation

Post-traumatic neck pain and hoarseness of voice.

Patient Data

Age: 35 years
Gender: Female

Fluid collection is seen filling the left side of the glottic and supraglottic larynx effacing the left pyriform sinus and left laryngeal ventricle (vestibule) with apparent thickening and medial displacement of the left vocal cord resulting in mild encroachment on the airway.

Intact cartilaginous skeleton of the larynx.
