Case Discussion

Perhaps the best-known coronary artery anomalies are those that have abnormal origins, but coronary arteries may also have abnormal terminations. The RCA is more commonly involved than the left coronary artery. The most common abnormal fistulous communication is with the right ventricle, followed by the right atrium, both of which obviously result in a left-to-right shunt. The fistulous artery is often impressively dilated and tortuous, as in this case.
