The site of clinical complaint corresponds to a well circumscribed hypodense mass seen within the left sternocleidomastoid muscle lower portion measuring 3.5 x 1.9 x 5.4 cm along its maximal axial and craniocaudal dimensions. The mass shows a dominant fat density reading -120 HU with a thick soft tissue density streak seen within its posterior portion.
