Greyscale ultrasound of the swelling shows a well defined subcutaneous mixed echogenicity with central hyperechoic area suggestive of fatty component. On spectral Doppler scan, arterial and venous high velocity flow patterns are seen within the lesion typical of hemangioma.
Note mirror artifact caused by highly reflective calvarium.

Soft, pink ,compressible swelling over scalp. Appearance is typical of strawberry hemangioma.
