Testicular multifocal seminoma

Presentation

Gradual, painless testicular swelling

Patient Data

Age: 35 years
Gender: Male
ultrasound

The scrotum and tunicae appear preserved. Tiny scrotolith on the right.

The right testis is of normal size and echotexture. Normal arterial flow.

The left testis is mildly enlarged by several hypoechoic structures (at least three), the largest of which measures 15 x 21 mm. Arterial flow is mildly increased.

Both the epididymides appear normal. Tiny cyst in the head of the left epididymis.

No evidence of hydrocele or varicocele.

Case Discussion

Several hypoechoic masses in the left testis, most probably a primary tumor (multifocal seminoma).

The testis was removed but no pathology report is available.
