Screening.

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Female

Reduced volume left hemithorax with mediastinal shift to the left. The trachea is displaced the the left and the left main bronchus is displaced superiorly.

Dense apical opacity with superior air crescent indicating cavitation and intracavitary body.

Multiple calcific foci in the upper and mid zones.

Case Discussion

The appearances suggest post-primary fibrocalcific tuberculosis complicated by cavitation and mycetoma.
