CardioMEMS™ HF System is an approved wireless heart failure (HF) monitor that is deployed in the central pulmonary arteries. This device remotely monitors changes in pulmonary artery (PA) pressure, an early indicator of the onset of worsening heart failure.

Two 10-mm-diameter polytetrafluoroethylene-coated nitinol loops maintain sensor apposition to the vessel wall following deployment.

Once the catheter is in the correctly positioned, the sensor is released into the artery, where it remains permanently.
