Renal failure and low back pain

Patient Data

Age: 80 years
Gender: Male

No IV contrast used as eGFR

Grossly distended bladder with large infiltrating mass involving the right sacrum and sacral nerve roots. Note atrophic right kidney (due to renal artery stenosis) and markedly hydronephrotic left kidney due to "back pressure" from chronic bladder distension.
