Elongated ventrally deviated hook-like sternal xiphoid process (normal variation).
Case Discussion
The xiphoid process may end in different ways, and its size may vary, too.
Some individuals have an elongated process. With ventral or dorsal deviation, they appear hook-like or have a reverse S-shape.
The patient may present with an epigastric hard swelling.
It is a normal variation.
